Carey re-opens for quiet prayer

From July, Carey is open for private prayer at these times:

Monday 5.30 - 7.30 pm

Tuesday 8.00 - 9.00 am

You are welcome to use this quiet space for your own prayers and reflections during these times. Plastic candles are available to be lit as a sign of remembrance, a sign of hope.

All visitors are encouraged to bring their own face masks. All safety measures, including social distancing and providing sanitiser stations for before and after prayer are in place. All those who attend will be asked to leave their details, for the purposes of Track & Trace. This will be in keeping with Carey's existing Data Protection Policy.

Our thanks to those who have made re-opening our church possible, by volunteering to be welcomers. If you think you may be able to help with welcoming people to our premises, please contact our minister, Colin (01442 256433 / If we get enough volunteers, we may be able to open the church at other times, perhaps including a lunchtime slot.

We are living in extraordinary times, but we worship and follow an extraordinary Saviour.

If you need to speak to someone, or need some help, please call Colin on 01442 256433, or alternatively speak to someone on the pastoral team or to one of the deacons.

Some members have asked for the church's bank details, so that they can keep giving via BACS. However, we recognise that these times are not only emotionally difficult but financially difficult also. So please only continue to give if you are able. These are Carey's bank details: Sort Code: 40-52-40, Account No: 00021622.

Let us continue to rejoice that 'The LORD is near'.

'I want people everywhere to lift up holy hands in prayer' (1 Tim 2:8).

Shalom in Jesus,
